We are currently recruiting 2 new members for our Mental Health Tribunal Advisory Group (the TAG).

The Mental Health Tribunal has a Tribunal Advisory Group (TAG) that provides opportunities for consumers, family, carers and supporters with lived and living experience to:

  • shape and participate in the Tribunal’s work
  • advise and assist the Tribunal to maximise opportunities for consumer and carer engagement and participation in the activities of the Tribunal
  • advise and provide input into the Tribunal’s operations and strategic planning.

We are currently recruiting to fill vacancies for a:

  • Family / Carer Member - who has lived/living experience as a family member, carer or supporter of someone who has had experience of compulsory treatment.
  • Consumer Workforce Member - who is employed at a public mental health service in a dedicated consumer lived experience role and works with consumers on compulsory treatment orders.

If this sounds like you, please consider applying to help us improve the Tribunal.

TAG meetings go for 3 hours and are held approximately every 2 months.  TAG members are paid for their time and travel.
